On the downside, we found the room's cleanliness lacking. The carpet had stains, the towels felt too rough, and there were issues with the blinds, as one sash window wouldn’t budge. Breakfast hours were a bit restrictive, and while the hot food arrived promptly, the bacon was served too hard to enjoy, and coffee was often empty. the decor felt tired, indicating that a bit of maintenance could elevate the overall experience significantly.

It was just a suitable option for a short layover in Eastbourne with good value considering the price it charged. The staff were exceptionally friendly, even helping with our kids' beach toys. Make sure to check the breakfast time to avoid long queues.

the sheldon is in a great spot, just a short walk to the town centre. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the welcoming staff made us feel at home. plus, the location was super convenient with free parking right behind the hotel. breakfast was delicious, and they really took care of us.

Had a blast with friends! We explored the 1066 Country Walk, and the beach was perfect for a sunny day. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a highlight. Rooms were clean and comfy. Definitely recommend for a group getaway.

We had a slight issue when we checked out. no one was around to say goodbye to. Would have been nice to thank them for our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and the location was spot on, just a short stroll to the beach. Room was spacious with a cozy sofa and a big comfy bed. Breakfast options were quite decent too! One thing tho, the parking was a bit tricky at times, nice to have it but not super easy to find a space. a solid choice for a getaway.
